Altadena, CA – Hit-and-Run Crash on I-5 S/Branford St Injures Driver

Altadena, CA (May 2, 2025) – A hit-and-run accident on southbound I-5 near Branford Street left the driver of a black Mercedes sedan injured on the evening of May 2nd. Los Angeles County authorities received reports of the incident shortly before midnight. Upon arrival, the Los Angeles CHP found the victim’s vehicle on the right shoulder with visible damage from the impact. The driver, whose identity has not yet been made public, sustained injuries and was assisted by emergency personnel at the scene. Paramedics administered initial treatment before transporting the driver to a local medical facility for further care. The suspect vehicle fled the scene immediately after the crash and has yet to be identified. Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage and collecting evidence from the scene to track down the hit-and-run driver. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to come forward.
