Altadena, CA – Hit-and-Run on I-5 N at SR-134 Leaves Motorcyclist Injured
Altadena, CA (March 30, 2025) – A motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 5 North at the SR-134 West connector early Saturday morning, March 30, according to authorities. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived at the scene around 8:45 a.m. and found the motorcycle and its rider down on the right-hand shoulder. Initial reports suggest that the motorcyclist may have laid the bike down to avoid a collision. However, the driver of the other involved vehicle allegedly left the scene, possibly unaware they had made contact with the motorcycle.
Emergency responders from the Glendale Fire Department assisted the injured rider, who was later transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed. Authorities are searching for the suspect vehicle and are urging any witnesses with information to come forward.
