Altadena, CA (April 20, 2025) – Late Sunday night, April 20, on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the CA-134 West connector, a two-vehicle collision involving a black sedan and a gray Polestar resulted in injuries. The incident occurred on April 20 at around 9:11 p.m., and multiple units from the California Highway Patrol responded swiftly. Witnesses reported that the black sedan was driving recklessly moments before slamming into a gray Rivian and a Polestar SUV, sending one of the vehicles off the road and down an embankment.
Debris scattered across the highway made several lanes impassable. Tow trucks were called in to recover the wrecked cars, with traffic halted while first responders assisted the injured. CHP is handling the investigations into the crash.
