Altadena, CA – Pickup Truck Crash on I-5 S at Western Ave. Causes Injuries

Altadena, CA (April 17, 2025) – A traffic accident involving two pickup trucks caused injuries on I-5 South near the Western Avenue exit on the afternoon of April 16th. California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene around 1:04 p.m. after receiving reports of a red pickup truck colliding with a white pickup truck. Emergency personnel assessed individuals involved in the crash at the scene. While the extent of injuries remains unconfirmed, initial reports suggest that at least one party may have sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Altadena Police are working in coordination with CHP to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. Investigators are currently reviewing dashcam footage and speaking to witnesses to determine the primary cause of the crash.
