Altadena, CA – Three-Vehicle Collision on I-5 North at Glenoaks Blvd Leads to Injuries

Altadena, CA (May 6, 2025) – On the afternoon of May 6, a three-vehicle accident occurred on the northbound lanes of I-5 at Glenoaks Boulevard in Altadena. The collision involved a blue BMW, a dark-colored vehicle, and a black Dodge. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) units arrived at the scene around 5:19 PM. Emergency medical services were dispatched, and at least one individual reported injuries and was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for evaluation. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed. The accident led to the closure of multiple lanes as authorities worked to clear the vehicles and debris. Tow trucks were called to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway. Traffic was backed up for several miles, and drivers were advised to seek alternate routes. CHP is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
