Altadena, CA – Traffic Wreck on I-5 N/Roscoe Blvd. Leaves Injuries

Altadena, CA (May 8, 2025) – On May 7, a traffic collision involving a white Kia Soul and a semi-truck occurred on the northbound lanes of I-5 at Roscoe Boulevard in Altadena, resulting in injuries. The crash was reported around 3:42 p.m., and units from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded promptly to the scene. The vehicles came to rest on the right shoulder, with emergency services arriving to assist those involved. One individual sustained injuries in the collision. First responders provided medical attention at the scene, and further treatment was administered as needed. The severity of the injuries has not yet been disclosed. CHP officers worked to secure the scene and coordinate the removal of the vehicles from the shoulder. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
