Altadena, CA – Two-Car Crash on I-5 at CA-134 Ends in Injuries

Altadena, CA (May 5, 2025) – A collision involving two luxury vehicles occurred Sunday night, May 4, along the Interstate 5 South to CA-134 East connector, leading to reported injuries. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on May 4th. A black BMW 5 Series and a black Lexus sedan collided along the right-hand shoulder of the transition road. Paramedics arrived to assess the injured parties at the scene. At least one person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and later transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. CHP officers managed traffic flow while coordinating the removal of both vehicles from the roadway. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
