Anaheim, CA – Injury Collision Involving Box Truck and Sedan on I-5/Lincoln Ave

Anaheim, CA (February 25, 2025) – A traffic collision involving a Hino box truck and a black Nissan Maxima occurred early Tuesday morning, February 24 on southbound Interstate 5 near Lincoln Avenue. The crash was first reported at 2:54 a.m., with reports indicating that a black sedan veered off the right shoulder and up an embankment.

Upon arrival, authorities confirmed injuries were sustained and dispatched paramedics to the scene. Debris was scattered across the lanes, prompting emergency responders to arrive at the scene. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) requested tow assistance with a 50-foot cable to recover the vehicle. Although at least one individual was transferred to an area hospital for further examination, the exact extent of the injuries remains unknown, and officials continue to assess the situation.
