Arbuckle, CA – Injury Crash Involving Big Rig on I-5 S near Gabby Rd

Arbuckle, CA (February 28, 2025) – A collision involving a big rig and a four-door sedan occurred on February 28 on southbound Interstate 5 near Gabby Road. The crash was first reported at 12:56 a.m., with the big rig coming to a stop on the right-hand shoulder, while the sedan sustained significant damage and rolled over, becoming entangled in wire fencing. Authorities confirmed that the vehicle had non-functioning tires on the driver’s side.

Emergency responders and California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived at the scene, initially classifying the crash as a major incident with injuries. Paramedics were dispatched to the scene to assist with the injuries.  Sanders Towing were requested to assist with vehicle removal. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
