Bakersfield, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Near Templin Hwy Leaves Injuries

Bakersfield, CA (November 15, 2024) – A multi-vehicle collision occurred on Friday morning, November 15, along southbound I-5 near the Templin Highway on-ramp, leading to multiple injuries. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the incident was logged at around 11:14 a.m. and involved a semi-truck and at least five other vehicles. The semi-truck, which was transporting pistachios, overturned, obstructing all lanes of the freeway. Emergency responders promptly arrived at the scene to assess and assist the injured individuals. Those requiring further medical attention were transported to nearby medical facilities for evaluation and treatment.

The accident led to significant traffic delays as authorities worked to clear the scene and restore normal traffic flow. The CHP is currently investigating the circumstances that led to the collision.
