Capistrano, CA – Four-Vehicle Wreck on I-5 S at Ortega Hwy, Causes Injuries

Capistrano, CA (March 27, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash involving four cars occurred on I-5 South near Ortega Highway in Orange County on March 27, resulting in injuries.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision blocked two right lanes, causing major delays for motorists in the area.  Emergency responders arrived promptly, providing medical assistance to the victims who were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries.

Authorities worked to clear the wreckage and restore normal traffic flow, but delays persisted for several hours. CHP officers are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
