Capistrano, CA – Injuries Reported in DUI Crash on I-5 S Near El Toro Rd.

Capistrano, CA (April 22, 2025) – A serious traffic collision occurred on April 21 along the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near El Toro Road in Capistrano, resulting in injuries and suspected DUI involvement. According to reports from the Orange County CHP, a black sedan collided with another unspecified vehicle shortly before midnight. Authorities believe that the driver of the black sedan may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

The collision caused significant vehicle damage and led to temporary lane closures as emergency personnel responded. Paramedics arrived promptly to assess the injured parties.
