Capistrano, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S Leaves Several Injured

Capistrano, CA (April 23, 2025) – On the evening of April 22, a multi-vehicle accident involving a box truck occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5 at Crown Valley Parkway in Capistrano, resulting in multiple injuries.

According to reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision involved a large commercial box truck and several other passenger vehicles.

The impact of the crash caused at least one vehicle to spin out, blocking multiple lanes and disrupting traffic for over an hour. Emergency personnel arrived swiftly and provided on-site aid to several injured individuals.

Paramedics from the Orange County Fire Authority transported at least two victims to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation.
