Capistrano, CA – Semi-Truck Pushes Sedan on I-5 N/El Toro Rd, Injuries Reported

Capistrano, CA (April 4, 2025) – A serious accident involving a semi-truck and a Toyota Camry was reported on the evening of April 3 along northbound Interstate 5 at the El Toro Road east on-ramp. The crash, which occurred around 8:48 p.m., involved a semi that collided with a blue sedan and reportedly pushed it across several lanes of traffic. Witnesses reported that the Camry was facing the wrong direction after the collision, partially blocking the slow lanes.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers from Unit 113-57 responded swiftly to the scene. Authorities reported that one person was injured in the crash and was assessed by medical personnel on site.
