Capistrano, CA – Traffic Wreck on I-5 N/Crown Valley Pkwy, Injuries Reported

Capistrano, CA (March 30, 2025) – A collision involving a box truck and a black sedan on Interstate 5 North at Crown Valley Parkway resulted in injuries and traffic delays early Saturday morning, March 30. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers arrived at the scene around 3:50 a.m. and found both vehicles blocking the offramp lanes. Witnesses reported that the sedan and the truck had last been seen taking the convertible off-ramp before the crash occurred.

Emergency medical responders assessed the injured at the scene. While the extent of the injuries has not been confirmed, at least one individual required transport to a nearby hospital for further medical care. Authorities temporarily blocked two lanes while investigating the cause of the crash and coordinating the removal of the vehicles. Tow trucks were dispatched to clear the roadway and restore normal traffic flow. The CHP is actively investigating the incident and encourages anyone with additional information to come forward.
