Capistrano, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N at Alicia Pkwy. Leaves Injuries

Capistrano, CA (April 15, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident on the northbound Interstate 5 near Alicia Parkway sent at least one person to the hospital on Monday evening, April 14. The crash occurred around 7:10 p.m., involving a black Tesla SUV and a gray Ford Transit van, both of which came to rest in the center divider. According to the California Highway Patrol, emergency responders, including the Orange County Fire Authority, arrived at the scene to assess the situation and assist those involved.

Due to the narrow space, one driver was reportedly unable to exit their vehicle. Firefighters assisted and helped safely remove both parties involved. An ambulance was dispatched, and one of the individuals was transported to a local medical facility for further evaluation. Towing services from Aliso Viejo and Southside Tow were requested to remove the damaged vehicles. CHP is investigating the incident, focusing on whether speed.
