Capistrano, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S at Ortega Hwy Leaves Injuries  

Capistrano, CA (March 22, 2025) – A traffic collision involving two vehicles occurred on I-5 South at Ortega Highway in Capistrano on Saturday afternoon, March 22. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash involved a white enterprise van and a smaller white sedan. Both vehicles came to rest on the right shoulder of the highway. CHP officers arrived at the scene around 4:22 p.m. to assess the situation and assist the injured. At this time, it is unclear how many occupants were inside the vehicles or the extent of any injuries. Emergency responders assisted at the scene, and injured individuals were transported to a hospital. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
