Coalinga, CA – Crash on I-5 N/Fresno-Coalinga Rd On-Ramp Causes Injuries

Coalinga, CA (April 17, 2025) – A collision between a semi-truck and a dark gray vehicle towing a small trailer caused injuries on April 16th near the on-ramp of I-5 North at Fresno-Coalinga Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 3:01 p.m. and resulted in both vehicles blocking the on-ramp. The semi-truck sustained damage to its front end, while the trailer-towing vehicle appeared to have sustained rear-end damage. Fresno County Fire and EMS units responded to the scene and treated one individual for injuries. The injured party was evaluated on-site and declined transport to the hospital. CHP is investigating the accident, and officers are determining the underlying cause.
