Greenbay, CA – Injury Crash Involving Semi-Truck on I-5 S 

Greenbay, CA (February 28, 2025) – A collision involving a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle occurred on February 28 on southbound Interstate 5 just north of Greenbay. The crash was first reported at 12:56 a.m., involving a semi-truck and a Nissan Altima. The Nissan rolled over and became wrapped in a wire fence, with both tires on the driver’s side damaged. Meanwhile, the semi-truck came to a stop on the right-hand shoulder.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene by 1:04 a.m., confirming that injuries were reported. Sanders Towing was dispatched to assist with vehicle removal. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
