Hugo, OR – Two Hurt in Late-Night Crash on I-5 Near Exit 66
Hugo, OR (September 28, 2024) – A late-night crash on September 27 on Interstate 5, near Exit 66, in Hugo resulted in two people being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident occurred around 11 p.m. on Friday, as Rural Metro Fire and AMR Josephine County responded to the scene. Initial reports suggest that the crash involved two vehicles, and it is believed that one driver may have been trying to avoid debris in the roadway when the collision occurred. Emergency crews assessed the situation, providing first aid to the individuals involved before transporting two people to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Both victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
