Linn County, OR – Pedestrian Hit by Car on I-5 Near Albany 

Linn County, OR (November 8, 2024) – A crash involving a pedestrian occurred on I-5 southbound early Friday morning, November 8 around milepost 223, approximately 11 miles south of Albany. According to the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), the collision occurred at around 2:00 a.m., leading to significant disruptions in traffic flow as emergency crews and investigators arrived on the scene. While details about the pedestrian’s condition have not been released, officials on-site provided immediate assistance.   ODOT has urged any potential witnesses to come forward to assist with the investigation.
