Los Angeles, CA – Big Rig and Car Crash on I-5 N/Indiana St. Injures Motorist
Los Angeles, CA (November 17, 2025) – A major collision involving a big rig and a white two-door vehicle caused injuries on Monday, November 17, on the northbound Interstate 5 just south of Indiana Street. The crash occurred during the afternoon hours and was quickly reported to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics were dispatched immediately and provided medical aid to the car’s driver, who sustained injuries requiring transport to a nearby hospital. The big-rig driver was evaluated on site but did not require hospitalization. The crash led to a temporary traffic slowdown as CHP worked to gather statements, examine vehicle damage, and determine the cause of the incident. Tow trucks cleared both vehicles, and lanes were reopened shortly thereafter. Investigators are continuing to look into what caused the collision.
