Los Angeles, CA – Collision on I-5 at E Olympic Blvd, Injuries Confirmed

Los Angeles, CA (April 7, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash involving a black Lexus sedan and a diesel truck occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 5 near East Olympic Boulevard in East Los Angeles early Monday morning, April 7, resulting in injuries. The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident around 8:45 a.m. Both vehicles were found on the right shoulder, with the Lexus suffering extensive front-end damage. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, and one injured person was transported to a nearby medical facility for evaluation and treatment. The extent of the injuries has not yet been disclosed. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash, reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses.
