Los Angeles, CA – Hit-and-Run Crash Injures on I-5 S at Fletcher Dr Off-Ramp

Los Angeles, CA (May 6, 2025) – A hit-and-run collision occurred late Monday night, May 5, on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 at the Fletcher Drive off-ramp, leaving a motorist injured and sparking a police response. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the victim was driving a silver Mercedes sports car. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded swiftly and treated the injured driver at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The extent of the injuries has not been publicly disclosed, but the victim is expected to recover. CHP officers tracked down the suspect vehicle on Fletcher Drive, just west of Riverside. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash and whether criminal charges will be filed.
