Los Angeles, CA – Injury Motorcycle Crash on I-5 S/Fletcher Dr

Los Angeles, CA (January 13, 2026) – A collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle caused injuries on Interstate 5 southbound near Fletcher Drive on Monday, January 12. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers said the crash involved a black motorcycle and a white sedan, with the motorcycle blocking active lanes following the impact.

Los Angeles Fire Department units arrived to assist and secure the area. One injured individual was evaluated at the scene before being transported to a medical facility for further care. The remaining vehicle was moved to the shoulder, allowing traffic to resume. Tow assistance was requested for the motorcycle due to disabling damage.

CHP is reviewing evidence to determine the events leading up to the crash.
