Los Angeles, CA – Injury Motorcycle Crash on I-5 S/SR-2 Con.

Los Angeles, CA (January 13, 2026) – A motorcycle-involved collision caused injuries on Interstate 5 southbound at the State Route 2 connector on Monday, January 12. According to police officials, the crash involved a black motorcycle and a white sedan, leaving the motorcycle blocking lanes.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded quickly to assist injured parties and manage traffic hazards. One person sustained injuries and was evaluated by paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital. The damaged vehicles were later moved to the shoulder.

Traffic delays persisted during cleanup efforts. CHP is continuing to examine the cause of the crash.
