Los Angeles, CA – Injury Multi Vehicle Collision on I-5 Near 4th St
Los Angeles, CA (February 26, 2025) – A traffic collision involving a big rig and a gray Dodge Challenger occurred on February 23 on northbound I-5 near 4th Street. The incident was first reported at 2:15 a.m. when the Dodge Challenger was disabled on the right shoulder due to engine failure. Around 2:47 a.m., the vehicle stalled in the middle lanes, creating a traffic hazard. Shortly after 3:03 a.m., a big rig with a white cab and white trailer collided with the disabled vehicle. Authorities initially reported no injuries at the scene. However, by 3:14 a.m., the occupant of the disabled vehicle reported pain and requested medical assistance. Emergency responders arrived to evaluate the situation. Metro Towing was dispatched to remove the vehicles. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
