Los Angeles, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-5 South at Alameda Ave Offramp, Injuries Reported

Los Angeles, CA (August 1, 2023) – A serious multi-vehicle collision occurred on August 1st, on the southbound lanes of I-5 at the Alameda Avenue offramp in District 7. The accident involved a white Chevrolet truck, an unknown-colored van, a silver Nissan Altima, and two other vehicles.

Emergency services were alerted, and the California Highway Patrol (CHP) quickly arrived at the scene. There were reports of injuries, but the extent is yet to be confirmed. At least one victim was trapped inside the involved vehicles.

Rowlets Tow and Monterey Tow were requested to assist in clearing the scene. Additional tow trucks were required to remove the damaged vehicles, which were blocking the right shoulder.

The authorities are currently investigating the cause of the collision and managing traffic flow in the area. As of now, there is no information on the total number of injured individuals.
