Los Angeles, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/SR-170 Connector Causes Injuries

Los Angeles, CA (March 20, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident on I-5 South at the SR-170 South Connector in Los Angeles led to injuries on March 19. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers arrived at the scene around 1:06 p.m. after reports of a crash and debris in the HOV lane. Emergency responders assessed the situation while the Freeway Service Patrol assisted a disabled vehicle on the right shoulder. The responding paramedics assisted all the involved individuals. The injured were rushed to the hospital, but the full extent of injuries has not been confirmed. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash and the debris that may have contributed to the incident.
