Los Angeles, CA – Multiple Vehicle Collision on I-5 South at Chatsworth Dr Causes Injuries 

Los Angeles, CA (August 9, 2023) – A significant multi-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5 at Chatsworth Drive on August 9th, at around 9:19 AM, leading to injuries and traffic disruption.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident involved at least five vehicles, including two large trucks, on the HOV and left lanes. Responding to the scene promptly, CHP units and emergency personnel assessed the situation.

The collision resulted in property damage and blockage of multiple lanes, prompting the issuance of a SIGALERT. The Transportation Management Center worked closely with local towing services to clear the roadway efficiently.
