Los Angeles, CA (April 12, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on northbound I-5 near the I-605 North interchange left at least one person injured Friday evening, April 11, prompting a swift response from emergency services. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the crash occurred around 5:08 p.m. and involved a black Mercedes sedan and a red Ford Mustang. The vehicles collided in the high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane, resulting in heavy damage and a fluid spill from the Mercedes. Freeway Service Patrol confirmed that medical assistance was required.
