Los Angeles, CA – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Wreck on I-5 SB at I-10 Con.
Los Angeles, CA (April 13, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on April 12 in Central Los Angeles along the southbound I-5 transition ramp leading to westbound Interstate 10, leaving one vehicle briefly catching fire and at least one person hurt. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a red Nissan Altima collided with a blue Honda Pilot SUV around 2:00 p.m. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and CHP units quickly arrived on the scene. First responders extinguished the fire and provided immediate aid to the injured. One individual was evaluated at the scene and transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway, and all lanes were eventually cleared later in the afternoon. Investigators are still gathering information to determine fault and the events leading up to the crash.
