Los Angeles, CA – Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on I-5 at Pasadena Ave.

Los Angeles, CA (April 18, 2025) – A collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Interstate 5 southbound near Pasadena Avenue in Central Los Angeles resulted in serious injuries on April 18. The California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles Police Department were called to the scene shortly after 7:30 p.m. following reports of a black Honda Civic striking an older male pedestrian. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived on the scene and immediately began treating the injured man. According to officials, the pedestrian sustained injuries and was quickly transported to a nearby medical facility for urgent care. The driver of the Honda Civic remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. CHP investigators are leading the inquiry into the crash.
