Los Angeles, CA – Pedestrian Struck in Morning Crash on I-5 S Pasadena Ave
Los Angeles, CA (January 17, 2024) – At around 6:44 a.m. on January 17th, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to a car accident involving a pedestrian on I-5 S Pasadena Ave, near the Central LA area. The incident occurred on the transition road to LAFD 250. Upon arrival, CHP confirmed the presence of a female pedestrian lying on the right shoulder of the on-ramp. Described as a Hispanic adult wearing a black hoodie, she was the apparent victim of a vehicle-pedestrian collision. Local authorities, including LAPD and LAFD, swiftly initiated response procedures. Emergency medical services rushed the victim to a local hospital for treatment and care. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported. The victim’s condition remains unknown at this time, and investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
