Los Angeles, CA – Three-Vehicle Wreck on I-5 at 4th St. Leaves Several Injured

Los Angeles, CA (April 9, 2025) – Multiple people were injured in a three-vehicle crash on the southbound side of I-5 near 4th Street in Los Angeles during the late afternoon of April 9th. According to reports from the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved a gray SUV, a brown sedan, and a third unidentified vehicle. The vehicles collided in the slow lane shortly after 5:00 p.m. CHP officers responded to the scene and closed the affected lane to make way for emergency responders. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were also dispatched and provided medical assistance on-site while waiting for an ambulance. At least one of the individuals involved sustained injuries that required transport to a local hospital for further evaluation. The extent of the injuries remains undisclosed, but all parties were reported to be in stable condition. Authorities are continuing their investigation into what caused the collision.
