Los Angeles, CA – Three-Vehicle Collision on I-5 North at S Atlantic Blvd, Injuries Reported
Los Angeles, CA (August 26, 2023) – A three-vehicle collision occurred on the evening of August 26th, causing disruption on the northbound lanes of I-5 just north of S Atlantic Blvd. The incident involved a black sedan, a yellow Chevrolet Camaro, and another vehicle in the number 1 lane.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) quickly responded to the scene. A black sedan was found blocking the slow lane and facing the wrong way, while the second vehicle, a yellow Chevrolet Camaro, was positioned sideways in the middle lane. The third vehicle was located in the number 1 lane. This multi-vehicle collision resulted in traffic congestion in the area.
CHP dispatched emergency crews to assess the involved individual’s situation. Fortunately, no life-threatening injuries were reported at the scene, and the injured we treated on site before being transported to the hospital.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is still ongoing. The authorities are working to determine the factors that led to this incident.
