Los Angeles, CA – Traffic Collision with Injuries Unfolds on I-5 South at W Empire Ave

Los Angeles, CA (June 22, 2023) – A traffic collision occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5, just north of Altadena in District 7, resulting in injuries.

The incident occurred at around 11:23 p.m. when a silver SUV collided with a black sedan. Both vehicles came to rest on the right-hand shoulder, partially blocking the slow lane.

Emergency crews, including the California Highway Patrol (CHP),  responded to the scene. Medical assistance was provided on-site. However, the exact extent of injuries sustained by the involved parties remains unknown.
