
Los Angeles, CA – Two Children Injured in I-5 Crash at Main St Off-Ramp

Los Angeles, CA (May 8, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on the I-5 North near the Main Street off-ramp in Central Los Angeles left multiple people injured, including two children, on the evening of May 7. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred around 5:22 p.m. and involved a silver 2012 Chevrolet Camaro and a black Ford pickup truck. Emergency responders arrived quickly and discovered that two children were among the occupants in the Camaro. They were injured in the crash and were transported to Kaiser Hollywood for further medical evaluation. The extent of their injuries remains unclear. The driver of the Camaro initially continued driving toward Glendale before returning to the scene and cooperating with police. CHP officers stayed on site to conduct an initial assessment and control traffic. The incident is under investigation to determine the cause and whether any citations will be issued.
