Los Angeles, CA – Two Injured in I-5 Crash at Triggs St
Los Angeles, CA (May 1, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash with injuries was reported late Wednesday night, April 30th, on the southbound side of I-5 near the Triggs Street off-ramp in East Los Angeles. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the collision around 10:09 p.m.
According to authorities, a white Chevrolet Equinox and a blue Mercedes-Benz E300 were involved in the crash, which left both vehicles positioned on the right shoulder of the off-ramp. Two individuals sustained injuries in the collision.
Emergency medical responders arrived shortly after and provided on-site assessment, though it remains unclear if anyone was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. One of the occupants remained inside their vehicle with the doors locked when first responders arrived, prompting additional assistance. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by CHP.
