Los Angeles, CA – Crash on I-5 S/W Alameda Ave Sends Victims to Hospital

Los Angeles, CA (April 17, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash occurred on April 16th along the southbound lanes of I-5 near West Alameda Avenue in Los Angeles, prompting an emergency medical response. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just before noon, around 11:55 a.m., and involved a black and white sedan. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived shortly after CHP and provided emergency medical aid to those injured. One person was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Their condition has not yet been released. Authorities temporarily blocked traffic to clear the wreckage and allow ambulance access. Investigations are ongoing, with officers investigating whether driver error or speeding contributed to the crash.
