Marysville, WA – Fatal Crash on NB I-5 Near MP 201

Marysville, WA (February 24, 2025) – A fatal crash occurred early Monday morning, February 24 on northbound Interstate 5 near milepost 201, between the 88th Street and 116th Street exits. According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the crash happened around 5:49 a.m. and involved a silver 2003 Subaru Legacy. Witnesses reported a road rage incident involving the Subaru and a gray sedan before the crash. The Subaru ultimately veered off the roadway and struck a tree approximately 50 feet from the highway. The driver did not survive the impact.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased individual. WSP is actively investigating the incident and is asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash camera footage of the events leading up to the collision to come forward.
