Modesto, CA – Injuries Reported in Serious Crash on I-5 South at Hamilton Road

Modesto, CA (July 15, 2023) – A serious traffic collision occurred on July 15th,  at around 11:11 p.m. The incident occurred on I-5 South at Hamilton Road in District 10.

Upon arrival at the scene, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded promptly to the incident. The crash involved two vehicles and resulted in sustained injuries by the involved individuals.

One SUV involved in the collision was fully engulfed, and there appears to have been only one occupant inside. The occupant was pulled from the burning vehicle and taken to a local hospital, according to American Medical Reports (AMR) reports.

As of now, no further information has been provided regarding the extent of injuries or identities of the injured individuals. The CHP is handling the investigations into the cause of this crash.
