Newhall, CA – Collision on I-5 N at Roxford St Off-ramp, Injuries

Newhall, CA (April 6, 2025) – On the afternoon of April 5, a multi-vehicle accident occurred on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the Roxford Street off-ramp in Newhall. The crash involved two sedans and a third vehicle, a truck. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived at the scene shortly after the collision and began coordinating the response.

It was reported that one of the sedans had collided with the truck in the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane, while the other sedan was involved in the aftermath. Two people sustained injuries in the crash, though their conditions remain undisclosed at this time. Emergency services were on-site to assist the victims, and tow trucks were called to clear the wreckage. The freeway service patrol worked efficiently to remove the vehicles, and the lanes were cleared within an hour. The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
