Newhall, CA – Four-Vehicle Collision on I-5 Near SR-14 Results in Injuries a

Newhall, CA (April 5, 2025) – A major traffic collision involving four vehicles occurred on northbound I-5 near the SR-14 connector in Newhall on April 5th, resulting in injuries. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash took place just after 12:30 PM and involved a gray Nissan Rogue and a black BMW, along with two unidentified vehicles. Witnesses reported that one of the involved vehicles may have fled the scene. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived promptly to assist, and injuries were confirmed at the scene. While the precise number and severity of injuries remain unknown, paramedics provided on-site aid to those affected. Tow services were called in, and three trucks were required to remove the damaged vehicles from the freeway. Authorities worked to clear the scene and initiate a full investigation. CHP officers are currently working to determine the exact cause of the crash.
