Newhall, CA – Injuries Reported in Crash Involving Tow Truck and Toyota MR2 on I-5 N
Newhall, CA (April 23, 2025) – A collision involving a white Ford flatbed tow truck and a silver Toyota MR2 caused injuries along northbound I-5 near Roxford Street on Wednesday afternoon, April 23. The crash was reported shortly before 3:00 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol dispatch records.
The Toyota MR2, which appeared to suffer major front-end damage, collided with the side of the tow truck, blocking at least one lane of traffic. First responders, including the Los Angeles Police Department and county fire units, arrived swiftly. One person sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to a nearby medical center for further evaluation. Their identity and current condition have not been made public at this time.
