Newhall, CA – Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 at Roxford St. Off-Ramp

Newhall, CA (April 6, 2025) – On April 5th, a multi-vehicle crash involving two sedans and a pickup truck occurred on northbound I-5 at the Roxford Street off-ramp in Newhall, resulting in reported injuries. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the incident shortly before 2:00 PM. The vehicles collided in the HOV lane, prompting traffic disruptions and the deployment of two tow trucks. One of the vehicles involved required immediate removal, while the others were guided off the freeway by the Freeway Service Patrol to Yarnell Street to reduce congestion. Medical responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived on the scene to assess those involved. One individual sustained injuries, though the severity has not yet been confirmed. No fatalities were reported. CHP officers documented the crash and are conducting a full investigation to determine liability.
