Newhall, CA – Semi-Truck Crash at I-5/Vista Del Lago Rd, Injuries

Newhall, CA (May 5, 2025) – A collision involving two semi-trucks on northbound Interstate 5 near the Vista Del Lago Road off-ramp on May 4 resulted in injuries and a multi-agency response. The California Highway Patrol officers responded around mid-morning to a reported crash involving a red Knight Transportation semi-truck and another big rig bearing the Pannu Trans Logistics Inc. logo with a baby blue Amazon trailer. One party involved claimed the Red Knight semi sideswiped his vehicle.

The involved parties were cooperative, and one driver identified himself as Singh. He exited the highway at Lebec Road while the second truck was reported trailing the first at a close distance before pulling over. Paramedics responded to assess non-life-threatening injuries sustained by one driver, who was later released at the scene. The California Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident.
