Newhall, CA – Two Hurt in Crash Between SUV & Pickup Truck on I-5 S

Newhall, CA (April 20, 2025) – On April 20, two people were injured following a crash involving a white Honda CR-V and a black Toyota Tacoma on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 just north of Magic Mountain Parkway. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene at approximately 5:46 p.m. after reports came in about the two-vehicle collision. CHP confirmed that both drivers sustained injuries. Paramedics treated the victims at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. The Honda and Tacoma sustained moderate front-end damage. The official cause is still under investigation.
