Newhall, CA – Two Injured in Overturned SUV Crash on I-5 N/SR-14

Newhall, CA (April 21, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle collision on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the SR-14 connector in Newhall left at least two people injured on the morning of April 21. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Los Angeles division, the crash occurred around 10:00 a.m. and involved a red SUV and a black Mercedes-Benz SUV, which overturned upon impact. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics arrived swiftly on the scene to provide aid. Two individuals were treated for moderate injuries, with one being transported to a local hospital for further observation. CHP officers are currently investigating the cause of the accident. Tow trucks worked to clear the damaged vehicles. Authorities have since reopened all lanes.
