Newhall, CA – Two-Vehicle Wreck on I-5 S at Lyons Ave. Results in Injuries

Newhall, CA (May 5, 2025) – On the evening of May 4, a collision involving a black Kia Sorento and a blue Toyota Camry occurred on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 at Lyons Avenue in Newhall. The incident occurred around 6:26 PM. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived at the scene to find both vehicles in the center divider, with at least one vehicle rendered undrivable. Emergency medical personnel assessed the occupants for injuries; however, specific details regarding the injuries have not been released. Freeway Auto Towing was dispatched to remove the damaged vehicles, and the Freeway Service Patrol assisted in managing the traffic flow during the incident.
